the first class monarch made this known in a press statement by his Personal Assistant and Media Aide, Prince Adeyemi Sulaiman Olusesi declaring that, the publication was a blatant false allegation by a faceless person.

The royal father said the publication captioned, ‘Royal Rumbles: Amosun, Alake, Olota May Lock Horns Over Territorial Crisis’, was nothing but a publication by a night online, which should be disregarded

‘The attention of Olota Palace has been drawn to a blatantly false allegation by a faceless person and published by a fly by the night online site,  "Newsflagship". It was erroneously reported that the State Governor, Sen Ibikunle Amosun (FCA), Alake of Egbaland, Oba Gbadebo Aremu Adedotun may be at loggerhead with our Royal Father, Oba Professor Adeyemi Abdukabir Obalanlege over an unfounded allegation that Egba Settlers in Otta, Aworiland are being threatened’, the statement recalled.

‘We wouldn't have dignified the attention seeker with a response but it becomes necessary so as not to misinformed the public. To set the record straight, there was never a time where His Royal Majesty, the Olota of Otta directly or indirectly harassed anybody or group of people under any guise’.

The Palace in the statement declared that no amount of evil machinations from the organisation or people of their ilk can truncate the growing cordial relationship between Olota, Alake and Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

‘Let it be noted that the relationship between Olota, Alake and the Governor is at its best and it will continue to be so because the peace of the State is paramount. However, the public should not take the publication serious as such spurious allegations are deliberately being planted to disrupt the peace we are currently enjoying in Ado-Odo/Ota and it's environs’.

The statement emphasized that, the Olota is a man of peace and he has been justifying this through his engagements, adding that he has been in talk with other traditional rulers within and outside Ogun State preaching the gospel of oneness amongst all sons and daughters of Oduduwa.

‘He always reiterates this in any of his visit. We are all from the same source, the blood of Oduduwa runs in our vein, we speak the same language not minding the intonation, hence there is no need for us to be engaging ourselves in battle".

Penpushing reports that, the statement, pointed out that, Olota is a respecter of law, and will never resolve to violence in getting what truly belongs to the Aworis if such arises even in the face of unwarranted provocations.

‘Awori people are known to be peace loving and will continue to accommodate settlers most especially Otta as a commercial city.
