Amosun, royal fathers, ex-minister meet Buhari over Ogun APC crisis

Governor Ibikunle Amosun on Sunday, led two major traditional rulers in Ogun State and a former minister to meet President Muhammadu Buhari over the crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress in the state.

Our correspondent learnt that Amosun and the high-powered leaders travelled to Abuja enroute Lagos in a private jet around 8.30am

Amosun’s entourage include, the Alake of Egba, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Olu of Ilaro, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, and a former minister of state for Education, Chief Iyabo Anisulowo.

Details of their meeting are not known at the moment but it might not be unconnected with the decision of the APC to reject the consensus candidates’ list of the governor for the governorship and National Assembly positions in the state for the 2019 polls.
